VOLUNTEER VISITING - With this scheme now in place and in operation we would like to invite and encourage anyone who would be interested in taking part to contact Jonny Frazer. It is an informal scheme which requires only a small amount of time every two months to call with people who cannot or are not able to attend church or other activities, as this is the least that the church is called to undertake in this modern world.
CUB SCOUTS - COLLECTION OF USED STAMPS: Many thanks to everyone who has supported this cause by collecting stamps over the past few months. We are continuing to collect stamps on an ongoing basis, so if you have any used stamps please bring them along to church and place them in the box provided in the vestibule.

Saturday evening: Night of worship - 7.30 pm - 9 pm.

CHRISTIAN AID 16th ANNUAL INTER-CHURCH TABLE QUIZ - This is a fun social event, to be held in St. Mark's Parish Centre on Friday 17 February 2012 at 7:30pm. There will be a short talk by Ann McIntyre on her recent visit to Christian Aid's YMCA partner in Beit Sahour, Israel. Entry forms are available in the vestibule or from Jack & Joan Crawford.

CHRISTIANITY EXPLORED COURSE - Beginning this evening at 7.00 pm and running for 7 consecutive Sunday evenings. If you plan to attend this course please sign your name on the sheet provided in the vestibule. This course is designed to fit in with our overall mission statement of ‘Living and Sharing God’s Good News’. It takes us through the main themes of Mark’s Gospel and is aimed at helping people encounter and explore the Gospel. Even if this is familiar ground to you please plan to come as a refresher to your faith and consider inviting someone for whom this would be a new experience.
YOUTH NEWS - Information on SU Camps, PCI Youth Outreach Teams and other youth events coming up this summer are available in the vestibule. Please take time to check them out, there could be something just right for you!
SERVING OVERSEAS 2012 – We are delighted that 3 of our young people will be serving overseas in the near future. Amy Humphreys and Sarah Hamilton are going with a team to Bodrog in Hungary in July and Jayne Booth is going to Townsville in Australia in October. We hope to give more details of their trips in the Spring Edition of the Grapevine Magazine. At present the organisers of the Bodrog Trip are still looking for 2 more men to join the team. If interested please contact Allen Sleith.

When?
Beginning Sunday, 5 February 2012 at 7.00 pm (instead of evening service)
How Often?
Every Sunday evening for 7 successive weeks: 5 Feb; 12 Feb; 19 Feb; 26 Feb; 4 Mar; 11 Mar; 18 Mar.
How?
The format will be refreshments to start at 7.00 pm; recap and review past weeks; DVD presentation; discussion/questions etc. finishing by 8.30 pm approximately.
Where?
The main venue will be the Lecture Hall with secondary sites for discussion groups if necessary in the Scrabo Room, Choir Room and Minister’s Room. Note: we will not be using the sanctuary since it is too large and formal a space.
